Today we took our reading session with our #elementaryschool cohort to a new level. While one participant created a world in #minecraft , the other 3 decoded the game play and reduced it to a story map. Each participant played for 10 minutes then we rotated. Therefore, they each completed 3 story maps. The key was getting them to focus and identify the key components as they relate to the story map. This was a one hour block of rigor. I love #stem Saturdays!!!!!!
