Through a combination of hands-on activities and virtual prep ware each student will be exposed to the hardware, software and operational procedures that are used and implemented by the industry’s leading companies. These activities will also prepare participants to pass the Federal Aviation Administration’s Remote Pilot Drone Certification exam.

At the completion of Section 3 students are highly encouraged to schedule the FAA’s Remote Pilot exam with Cape Fear Aviation located at 7154 Butler Nursery Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28306. Contact information and support with scheduling tests will be provided. The Remote Pilot Certification Exam testing fee is $175.00 (not included).
