STEMERALD City’s Kerrigan Lowe: From Maker to Coder Extraordinaire
Kerrigan Lowe, a standout student at STEMERALD City, has been a part of the grade 3-5 cohort since fourth grade. Now a rising freshman, Kerrigan has continuously impressed her teachers and peers with her exceptional talent in arts and crafts. Whether it’s 3D modeling and printing, vinyl cutting, or crocheting, Kerrigan excels in every creative endeavor she undertakes.
Despite her prowess in these areas, Kerrigan faced a significant challenge in coding. Initially, it was her STEM nemesis, a subject she found difficult and unappealing. However, with determination and perseverance, Kerrigan developed a knack for coding, transforming a weakness into a strength.
But Kerrigan’s talents extend beyond her artistic and technical skills. She possesses an entrepreneurial and humanitarian spirit, crafting and selling her creations while donating a portion of the profits to various charities. Her dedication to helping others highlights her compassionate nature and commitment to making a difference.
Jeffries Epps, CEO of STEMERALD City, speaks highly of Kerrigan’s growth and potential: “Kerrigan has blossomed into not only a great student, but an amazing human being. I cannot wait to see where her talents will take her as she enters high school.”
Kerrigan Lowe exemplifies the qualities of a true maker and a compassionate individual, ready to take on new challenges and continue her journey of creativity and innovation in high school. With her diverse skills and generous heart, the future holds endless possibilities for this remarkable young talent.
