Hi! Your child’s amazing journey to STEM superstar dome begins here! True STEM learning focuses on skills versus careers and pathways. In this session, 5th- 12th grade students will enhance their reading, math,and writing skills via the following hands-on STEM activities:
- Video Game Design
- Visual Computer Programming
- Packet Analysis
When: Saturday, November 4th, from 9 am – 4 pm,
Where: Sweet Briar College College campus in Sweet Briar Virginia.
Cost: $125 (includes program materials and lunch in the campus dining hall)
The session will be lead by 2013 White House Champions of Change for Tech Inclusion award winner and STEMERALD City CEO Jeffries F. Epps.
For families wishing to stay overnight, accommodations are available at Sweet Briar’s Florence Elston Inn for $105/night plus tax.
